The theme of mother 2 was death of childhood, and mother 3s was the desire to return to childhood. Mother 4 should deal with mortality, and the approaching end of your life span and what that will be like. I see the characters are older and appear to have jobs. So maybe it'll deal with those themes. We shall see. Ness being exposed to the realities of the real world was such a huge thin, and Lucas trying to reunite his family to be "home" again. The villains and ideas in this should really be about bigger ideas. Like the journey once you find your family and the abstarct fears you develop as you get older. I worry for this game because it seems so combat and style driven that the team might not "get" the mother series other than it's aesthetic. When The death of childhood evolves you gotta land the story beats right. I want those ideas most of all than just a earthbound wanna be /shrug
